This is a list of Indian states by their respective Human Development Index, as calculated and published by
the Indian Human Development Report 2011, which constitutes data from 2007 and
2008. Kerala stands first in Human Development Index among
the states in India.
This data is published by a
third-party organisation and is not officially endorsed by the United
Nations. Thus, it is incompatible with data published by the United
Nations due to variations in the calculations and formulas used by both
parties.
